kumki — a half-assed review…..

Disclaimer: I watched only half of the movie as the chennai-trichy bus guys turned it halfway through. so this is not a complete opinion.

-Kumki plot starts off with a refreshing start. But slides into cliche the moment there starts a romance . More than the romance the music leaves something tantalizing ly missing. It almost like the director’s settled for contentment while looking for rapture. While these factors are a minor jarring note, the real downer is the humour. While it still is better than clichés it centers around fear as a theme the repetitive monologue tires quick, even though it reminiscent of Nagesh sometimes :-)
